Both KJ Somaiya and DJ Sanghvi are equally good for placements, but DJ Sanghvi sometimes has an advantage. However, DJ Sanghvi is better than KJ Somaiya because of its faculty. Some say that DJ Sanghvi has a brilliant faculty with many well-known authors and experienced professors. According to Shiksha, the B.Tech. in Computer Engineering course at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 39 students, while the same course at DJ Sanghvi is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 33 students.

At KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology (KJSIEIT), the placements for B.Tech students are highly encouraging. The campus attracts major corporations each year and boasts an excellent placement record.The highest package and average package offered during placements in 2023 stood at INR 13.5 LPA and INR 5.7 LPA, respectively and a total of 161 students were placed.The average placement package for B.
