Hi,
I suggest you to specialize in MBA-Hospitality Management, if not able to pursue on a regular mode, I suggest you to complete it through distance mode. This will be an addition in your resume, and will create difference in your career profile. You will be promoted to higher designation, and on the other hand, you will get to learn about the present trends in the hotels theoretically. I suggest you to specialize MBA in Food and Beverage Service during your specialization period. This will help you. All the best.

Hi,
IHM,Ahemdabad is better than IHM Guwahati as it offers better exposure and better placement opportunities. IHM, Ahemdabad is an emerging IHM which is making its way to the list top Hotel Management Colleges in the country.
The admission in both the Institutes are based on National Counsel Of Hotel Management and Catering Technology ( NCHMCT) Joint Entrance exam.
There are other Institutes in the country such as IHM-Mumbai, IHM-Pusa, IHM-Bengaluru, IHM-Auranagabad (Taj) etc. which are better than both IHM-Lucknow and IHM-Shilong, and if you get good rank in NCHMCT Entrance exam you can get one of them as well.
