Yes, you can go for Bhopal as per last year's cutoffs and the placements at Bhopal is very good.

You can go for IHM-Gandhinagar (Ahmedabad), it is better from IHM Bhopal. Campus, faculty and facilities provided are much better.

Currently, better than Lucknow, Bhopal and Shimla, IHM Thiruvananthapuram is offering good placements. So, IHM Thiruvananthapuram is better.

Unfortunately, no one needs to be maximum 22 years in order to be eligible to apply for IHM.

On the basis of placement record, IHMs are in the following order-
1. IHM Lucknow
2. IHM Bhopal
3. IHM Jaipur

You can get in the 1st round or 2nd round itself.
