The total fee for a BSc course at IHM Chennai is around INR 4.95 lakh. On the other hand, IHM Kolkata BSc fees are INR 4.2 Lacs for a three-year duration. Hence, IHM Kolkata is more affordable for BSc courses compared to IHM Chennai. However, to consider which institute is the best option for BSc, fee structure can be one component, that candidates can consider, but several other factors can be counted while competing with the IHMs, such as placement package, college recognition, ranking, accreditation, etc.

IHM Chennai is a reputed institute for B.Sc. in Hotel Management and provides strong industry links, infrastructure, and placements. You will still have a decent opportunity to get admitted here with an AIR of 2516 in NCHMCT, as the cutoffs will depend on the category and other criteria. It is one of the top choices for hospitality education and provides good career prospects. What you should do is check the recent cutoff details for your category and the particular course to confirm your eligibility.
