Admission to the MBA course at IMT Hyderabad is entrance-based. The aspirants are admitted based on scores in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds. The minimum expected CAT and XAT Cutoff score required for admission in IMT Hyderabad MBA programme is 70 percentile and 80 percentile respectively. Morever, Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with aggregate 50% marks from any recognised university for selection process for admission.

During IMT Hyderabad 2024 placements, the maximum package offered to MBA students was INR 26 LPA. It is up from the highest package of INR 25 LPA last year. IMT Hyderabad insists on prompt and regular attendance in classes. The minimum attendance requirement for every course is 75% of the total scheduled sessions.
