Hey Jayanta,
Your admission to IMT Hyderabad depends upon your CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores and if you are shortlisted you would have a round of CT-GD-PI.
The likely cut offs for this year will be a s follows:
CAT/XAT - 70 Percentile
CMAT - 85 Percentile
GMAT - 550
The admissions committee will take the final call.
Good luck!

No, IMT does not assure any loan allocation. IMT, Hyderabad has got collaboration with couple of nationalized banks like PNB, OBC, etc. The entire details to connect with these banks would be available on institute's website under educational loan section. Kindly check the same.
All the best!

Your profile seems decent. For the record based on the past trends, the cutoff for CAT, XAT, and CMAT has been around 70 percentile. Apart from that, there will be a CT-GE-PI process that will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates.
All the best!

In IMT Hyderabad, life is not only stipulated to the black imprints on hard paper bound books. The leafy campus of IMT Hyderabad blisters with events apart from the regular bland lectures in the form of activities by the students, of the students and of course for the students. On one hand when there is enormous pressure of assignments, class tests etc. the other hand has limitless fun, friends- friends made for life, soothing chords of guitar and of course a sense of belonging that the students make at IMT Hyderabad far from their sunny native lands.
Qualification in CMAT followed by a CT-GE-PI process helped me get admission at IMT Hy

IMT offers Diploma and these Diploma courses are not equivalent to an MBA program neither for academic purpose in India nor for the visa abroad.
For knowledge enhancement only it may be useful but definitely not if you are thinking that it carries the same value as full-time PGDM program. The focus of IMT through distance learning is just on earning money.

Hi Ravindra, PGDM at IMT Hyderabad with HR is a good choice to consider. All the students with HR specialization are placed in 2015-2017 batch. Though CTC is not calculated on specialization basis, the average CTC of the whole batch is Rs 6.66 lakhs. Please have a look at the whole placement report on IMT,Hyderabad's website.

Hi Sriram,
My experience with IMT, Hyderabad has been great till now. Both curricular and co-curricular activities have kept me engaged and helped me to improve my skills. It is a pleasant campus with vast space to move around. The faculty are very professional and learned who will help at any time. With annual fests and events conducted by different domain (student driven) clubs, time management and organizational skills are bound to be learned. Overall, it has been a good journey in my first year at IMT-H.
