There are a total of 50 seats in BA course of Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology. Candidates are offered seat in BA based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Out of the total intake, some seats are reserved as per the policy followed at IMCMT. The reservation of seats is as per reservation policy of Haryana Government and is subject to any change/amendment by the State Government from time to time.

Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 to apply for BA programme at Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology. The minimum aggregate for BA is 50%. Hence, canddiates with 70% in Class 12 can easily get into Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology BA in Mass Communication course. The selection for BA is based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

Yes, Kurukshetra University offers financial aid in the form of scholarship to meritorious students of IMCMT. Some of the scholarships offered at KUK includes Golden Jubilee Post-graduate Scholarships, Smt. Kiran Yadav Scholarship, Scholarships for students with President Medal and National level Bravery Award and Merit-cum-Means scholarships, among others.
