Established in 1983 by the Ramrao Adik Education Society,  Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) is one of the oldest and the finest engineering colleges in Navi Mumbai. Located in the lush green campus of Dr DY Patil Technical Campus, RAIT offers state-of-the-art amenities, which combined with experienced faculty and an amicable environment ensure an all-around development of the students. RAIT is affiliated to DY Patil Deemed-to-be University, recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A” grade, paving way for a promising future.The Institute follows an efficient system of collecting feedback about faculty performance from the students. The faculty appraisals are collected and reviewed periodically by the Quality Assurance Team (QAT) of RAIT. The performers among students are rewarded with scholarships and tuition fee waivers. The PG fees is around 1lacs to 2 lacs depending upon the course.

St. Joseph's Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

MITE - Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.E. / B.TechCandidates passed Diploma are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.M.E./M.TechCandidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university.
Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.
Candidates must have valid GATE score.MBA/PGDMCandidates must have passed Bachelor's degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates).
