Selection criteria for the B.E. / B.Tech courses at Shri Balwant Institute of Technology, Solapur, is given on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or JEE Main. The minimum qualification required for admission is to be 10+2 passed with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as core subjects, with a minimum percentage of usually 50% in aggregate for general category and 45% for the reserved categories. MHT-CET or JEE score shall be the final selection procedure, besides eligibility verification and document submission in the counselling process. Admission shall be strictly merit-based.

The prime entrance examination performance criteria has been considered for shortlisting the candidates for B.E. / B.Tech courses in Scient Institute of Technology (SIT), Ibrahimpatnam. For undergraduate admission candidates are entitled to qualify the Entrance Examination conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). Those candidates are shortlisted based on the merit of EAMCET ranks, to whom counseling summons are sent. Some seats under the direct admissions policy have management quota, in which the candidates are admitted on the basis of class 12 performance. A selection procedure on the lines of the existing norms of the government for reservation.

The minimum eligibility criteria for the B.E. / B.Tech programs at Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology, Khammam are carried out on the basis of performance in EAMCET-Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test. Conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, every candidate is required to have a 10+2 level education with a percentage of marks minimum to be 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and 40% marks in those subjects for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. Admissions to this course are through counseling on account of the rank achieved in EAMCET. In addition to this, the college has management seats that are restricted to a certain number of candidates who qualify in eligibility criteria.  

For B.E./B.Tech at Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology (SSIT, Khammam), eligibility criteria include: Minimum 10 + 2 examination with percentage Graduate percentage in Physics Math, Chemistry 45% for general & 40% for SC/St/OBC candidates. TS EAMCET rank is mandatory. Applicants should have passed in 10 plus 2 exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology. Upper age limit is 30 years for all Other Castes and 34 years for BC/SC/ST candidates. Percentage of seats for lateral entry for Diploma holders are : 20%. TS EAMCET cut-off ranks: 107287-161577. Intake: 540 seats divided in six branches namely CSE, ECE, EEE, ME Civil and IT. Duration: 4 years.

B.E./B.Tech Eligibility criteria in Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology (PDIT) have been stated as followsQualification - All the candidates should have passed in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics as core subjects with at least 45% of marks aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidate).Entrance Test: On the basis of the admission process, the candidate should qualify in Karnataka CET (KCET) or COMEDK test. Otherwise, Direct Admission is possible through management quota seats.Age Limit: Age is not a criterion of the age, but candidates should meet the qualification criteria based on the guidelines of the respective entrance exam.
