Hi , you must keep checking the institute website and also Anna University website for admission calls. For admissions into BE or B.TEch applicants must have passed
1. The Higher Secondary Examination of ( 12th) Curriculum (Academic Stream ) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry as three or four subjects of the study prescribed under part III or any other examination of any university or authority accepted by the syndicate of the Anna University as equivalent thereto.

College atmosphere is quite positive. The infrastructure of the college is nice. There are separate building for each department. It's a lush green campus. It is situated near the city.
Placements are pretty decent.
For an average students it is not a bad option

NITs are always good to go institutions for engineering after IITs in India. If you're getting NIT then you should join without giving much thought to it. DTU is also equally good but not as NITs.

You Should go for B.Tech in electrical engineering as you complete d your diploma in this subject which will help you a lot. You also can get an lateral entry to second year B.Tech in some colleges/ University.

I think Galgotia University is better as it located in near Delhi NCR and good quality faculties from premium institutes like IITs are there.
