Unfortunately, since you have done B.Tech in Instrumentation and control engineering, you do not qualify. You need to be a B.Sc in mathematics and computer education, or any other degree that has math and or computer education. But, you can do it now. So, do it if you really want to get into M.Sc Mathematics, and are passionate about it. Another advantage would be that you will be a double graduate.

If you are interested in currents and voltage values ranging from -5V to +5V, including Nano and Pico values between them, go for electronics and communication.
Perks:
You get to work on Microprocessors,You get to control the controllers,
You get to design whatever you want.
No On-site Job.
Mostly, for EC engineers, you'll get an AC Desk Job.
If you are interested in Coding, then also there is a large scope for you in EC for configuring and Driver Manufacturing I.e. dealing with making softwares related to hardware and their interfacing.
