Hello Gokul,
Diploma in Civil or interior design? Its a typical Shakespearen Dilemma. Frankly speaking both are good choices. Both are in similar fields. I am sure you must be working in a similar environment after doing your ITI since you are already 23 years old, right? My choice would be civil but then my sincere advise would be "select the subject that fascinates you the most, one that interest you the most". Best wishes for your Diploma dreams.

Experienced architects and interior designers (not the same as interior decorators) are qualified to create / design spaces that solve problems for homeowners. The primary way they do this is through spatial design and planning. The architecture and design fields are considered both an art and a Science.

Hello Vishnu,
I would like to suggest that you start taking up certain courses related to interior designing in parallel. It might take you some time to get hold on it, but once you are confident that you can run a business on your learning then you can take it as a profession.

Hey buddy,
For admission to B.Sc. Interior Design, students have to clear the entrance exam which many colleges conduct separately followed by group discussion round and personal interview round.
Skills tested in the entrance test includes general proficiency, logical reasoning, quantitative analysis and basic Mathematics and the students are judged on parameters like career focus, maturity and confidence, general awareness and intellectuality in the personal interview.
