Interior Design

Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) is conducted for UG level programs such as Bachelors in interior design (B. IED) and Bachelor of construction technology (B. CT). Students who have cleared a NATA are eligible to appear for CEPT Entrance Exam. The CEPT exam conducts Once a year. CEPT has begun the 3rd round of application forms for the CEPT Entrance Exam 22 in online mode and it was closed on September 21, 22. Mode of Exam: Offline mode. Duration of the Exam: 3 Hours. Eligibility Criteria: Pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent for the General category and 45 percent for the SC/ST/SEBC category. Eligibility Criteria vary from course to course. Seats Reservation in CEPT exam: 50 percent of the total seats for students applying for the B. IED (Bachelors of Interior Design) programme will be reserved for those students who have passed their qualifying exam from the schools which are located in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. There are multiple types of courses offered for interior design, which include Certificate Diploma, and degree courses. These are a few government colleges that offer an interior design course for under Rs. 1 Lacs:
1. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Takshashila Campus (a) Diploma in Interior Designing: Fees are Rs. 10 thousand. (b) B.Voc. In Interior Design: Fees for this degree-level course are Rs. 63,000.
2. Yashwantrao Chavan, Maharashtra Open University: (a) Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration: Fees are Rs. 13,000 (b) Advanced Diploma in Interior Design: Fees are around Rs. 40,000.
3. Government Polytechnic College in Ghaziabad:
Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration: Fees are Rs. 31,000
4. Aryabhatt Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University
Diploma in Interior Design: Fees are Rs. 50,000.
5. YWCA Women's Training Institute of Delhi:
Diploma in Interior Designing: The fee is Rs. 60,000.
