In which college do you want admission? If it's nid you need to get a decent score plus qualify the entrance and interview if you wanna get in. As for the other colleges, it is relatively easier but still require efforts on your side.

For Interior Designing you might be interested in giving common entrance exams such as UCEED SEED CEED AIEED. Apart from these you may look and apply for the institutionally based entrance exams which are conducted by the universities themselves as Many universities have their own entrance exam.

NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. So if you plan to get into only NIFT then you do have to give NIFT Entrance Exam but if you plan to apply in many universities then UCEED is a better option as you'll have many university choices and you can get admission on the basis of UCEED score.
