Whenever you will fill the application form, after that, you will receive a mail from college about the entrance exam date. There is no fixed date it happens In between June, July and August.

Every entrance exam has a different pattern. You can refer to numerous guidebooks such as Bright Careers Guide NIFT Entrance Exams, Concepts of Pattern Grading and IIFT Entrance Exam Guide by Surendra, etc. , which will provide you a lot of information about the exam, its pattern, syllabus, etc.
