Design is a popular course choice among students. In order to secure admission in these colleges, aspirants need to clear an entrance exam. Interior Designer - A person who has done his Bachelors in interior design, which is a 3-year course. Starting salaries may vary from 15,000-35000/-. You may also choose to be an entrepreneur and have your own firm with an average earning between 40,000-100000 per month.

Eligibility Candidates applying for this course are required to have acquired 10+2/equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 45%. Candidates who have completed a Diploma in civil engineering are also eligible to apply for this course through lateral entry. The admission in International School of Design is taken on the basis of your marks in graduation. They have a merit based process and hence, there is no entrance test.

It is great to see your interest in interior designing but unfortunately, learning only AutoCAD will not suffice to become a professional in the industry. The interior design courses are specially designed to equip you with certain skills like design principles, color therapy, space planning and industry standard software. It gives a thorough exposure to students on different kinds of projects to prepare them as a professional. It will also make you aware about various materials and products.
