Since this career involves designing homes/properties, and then executing those designs to create the environment that the client wants, the person should have excellent management and communication skills, as well as be creative with his/her work.

You may pursue an interior designing course from NIFT or NID. Both these institutes are best to pursue the designing course.

Definitely, Interior is the design field where an expert is required to create a positive area for work or living.
Though, initially you would be required to work with established designer. Then, work parallel for yourself on small commercial projects and institutional projects to put a good name in industry.

There are a wide number of options that an interior designer can choose to work in depending on the person's talent, capability, creativity and liking.
The basic eligibility to join interior design course is to pass 12th in any stream with minimum 50%. There is no age limit. Admission will be on the basis of the score in the institute's entrance exam and interview thereafter.
The admission procedure will be different for different colleges.
However, admission to B.Des course will be based on the marks obtained in the senior secondary examination or entrance test conducted by the relevant institution.
