Candidates who have passed a UG degree of a minimum of three-years in any discipline with a first division/ class from a recognised university are eligible to apply for IIIT Bangalore MSc. Those expecting to graduate by July 1 of the admission year may also apply. Aspirants must also have a valid score in CAT, CEED, CUCET or TISS NET for exemption from written test conducted by IIIT Bangalore.

For admission to a BTech/BTech+MTech course of IIIT Bangalore, the aspirants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. As per the official website, candidates who passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board and studied Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply.
