No, it is mandatory for aspirants to have a valid JEE Main score for admission to IIIT Bangalore BTech programme. Once the JEE Main results are out, candidates are allocated seat in the institute based on their rank. However, mere qualifying JEE Main won't guarantee admission. Candidates must also fulfil the eligibility requirements.Besides, candidates must hold first class in Class 12 with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Students expecting to complete the minimum requirements by July of the admission year are also eligible for admission.

The required JEE Main score for admission to NIT Trichy, IIIT Hyderabad, and NIT Patna under the ST category varies each year based on factors like applicants, difficulty level, and available seats.
