The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Pune accepts scores from entrance exams like JEE Main and MHT CET. IIIT Pune offers B.Tech and BE programs, which take four years to complete. In case of a tie, the JEE rank of the applicants will be considered. IIIT Pune is one of the most famous colleges in Maharashtra and in India. It is AICTE approved and ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited.

IIIT Bangalore offers M.Tech course in two specialisations including Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Communication Engineering. The institute released five rounds of seat allotment results for M.Tech CSE and four rounds for M.Tech ECE. The closing ranks for M.Tech CSE is 480 and M.Tech ECE is 430. In addition to a five-year Dual Degree (BTech + MS/Master of Science) course with five specialisations, IIIT Hyderabad provides a four-year BTech programme with two specialisations. There are several ways to be admitted to these courses: JEE Main, JASA (Direct Admissions for Students Abroad), UGEE (Undergraduate Entrance Exam), SPEC (Special Chance of Admission) route, and LEEE ( Lateral Entry). The semester-wise fee for PhD is INR 75,000. Additionally, the deemed university provides financial assistance towards the tuition fees and stipend to all research students (PhD) of good standing. Normally, full financial assistance requires the student to put in 20 hours of work per week. Financial assistance is provided to all the students during the first semester, but it is continued based on good academic performance.

Yes, IIIT Hyderabad offers a stipend ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 30,000 to the PhD students. Additionally, IIIT-H announced 20 PhD fellowships of INR 35,000 per month for five years for deserving students.

A PhD student can take the relevant courses in the first one or two semesters, depending on the background, just like a student of MS by research. After the first year, the student works on clearing the PhD qualifying exam which tests his or her breadth of knowledge in the field of study.
