Complete Class 12 and then appear for the JEE Main, after which, according to your rank in JEE Main, you will go through the counselling process held by JoSAA and there you can opt for IIIT Pune as one of the preferred institutes to join. It will depend upon the seat availability and will be based on the merit score according to your rank in your category. Always make sure that you have satisfied all eligibility criteria for an undergraduate course issued by the institute.

No, you cannot get admission in IIIT Pune for BTech without clearing JEE Main as this institute admits students only based on their JEE Main scores at undergraduate level. But for M.Tech or other programmes, admission can be taken without JEE Main. In the case of MTech, admissions are given based on GATE scores or based on other criteria set by the institute for particular programmes.

First, you have to qualify for the JEE Main to get into IIIT Pune. Then, depending on your valid score in the JEE Main, you will have to attend JoSAA counseling for BTech admission. In this counseling, you can choose IIIT Pune as an institution. All depends on your rank in the JEE Main and available seats. Meet the eligibility criteria. Fill out the online application as part of the admission process.

IIIT Pune is a good institution with IT programmes and fine placement opportunities. As any college has the pros and cons, so one's value depends on your career aims and aspirations. You may personally consult the current students, refer the recent placement records, and visit the campuses to take a decision. Thus, your success depends most on your dedication, your skills, and passion as opposed to the name alone of the institution.

A 95 percentile in JEE Main is a pretty good score. It can help get into IIIT Pune, but there might be category-based, seat-available, and course-cutoff-specific requirements for admissions. Generally, IIIT Pune tends to have a rather high cut off, so 95 percentiles are a very good position to be in; however, it depends entirely on the year-wise cut-offs trend during the counseling process through JoSAA.

The decision between choosing IIIT Pune and an NIT depends upon factors like the type of course, preferred location, and placement. Since NITs are a well-known institution with several courses offered, have robust alumni networks, IIIT Pune has emerged as one of the best institutions for courses related to IT with more recognition and better placements. Ultimately, students must consider both in the context of their objectives and goals to take the right decision.

It is tough to compare which institute is easier to get admission into for BTech courses among IIIT Pune and IIITDM Jabalpur because the BTech admission process for all IIITs is almost the same, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from PCM/B stream with a minimum of 75%, and then candidates have to appear for the JEE Mains entrance examination, followed by JoSAA counselling.Additionally, the number of BTech seats offered at IIIT Pune is 345, whereas at IIITDM Jabalpur it is 552. Hence, there could be a possibility that the institute with a lesser number of seats has tough competition in contrast to the IIIT
