The International Management Institute (IMI), which has its main campus in New Delhi, was established in 1981 and is the country's first business school to receive corporate backing. Corporate sponsors ITC, Nestle, Tata Chemicals, British Oxygen, SAIL, and Williamson Magor joined the main sponsor, RPG Enterprises. A applicant must take and pass the CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT entrance exam in order to be considered for admission to the International Management Institute's Executive MBA programme.
