In order to get admission in the Executive PGDM programme offered at the institute, students need to have passed UG degree or equivalent in any stream from a recognised university. The minimum score required is 50% or equivalent CGPA. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum work experience of three years post-qualification. IMI New Delhi selects foreign students based on valid GMAT score.

There is cut throat competition along with lot of support at IMI Kolkata.
