Firstly let me tell you that in these dynamic times, PGDM is your best option. There are many reasons attached but the most important one is, its a course that makes you industry-ready. I have seen many institutes in my lifetime, and have had friends studying in all Tier 1 colleges, but we would always talk about one thing, how PGDM is the future of management. Having studied at IMIK, I know it is an amazing institution. IMI family of institutes have 35 years of legacy which speaks volumes about the institution and the kind of education it provides. You have named three of the best colleges in the country. But being an alumni of IMI Kolkata, and having made a career in a reputed organisation, I would say IMI Kolkata would be my pick. The location of IMI Kolkata is one of the best things about the institute. Kolkata is a beautiful city. It was the capital of the country in the British Raj and it is proof that it is strategically one of the best business places. IMI Kolkata is not just located at a very important place, it is also the home to the country most intelligent people as faculty. These people have their papers published in journals of national and international repute. Som

PIBM, ITM, IMI, Kirloskar. PIBM is a better college than any other college. The training programme of the college makes it unique from other colleges. College provides good practical exposure with classroom learnings through live projects, internships, industry visits, communication and aptitude training, presentation skills, mock gd pi, and many more. Top companies like Deloitte, Lodha Group, Wipro, TIAA, Citco, Cians, and many more coming with the highest package of 15 LPA.

Hi there, the average package offered to a PGDM pass out is between 3.3 to 8 Lakhs. This entirely depends on the type of institute. Every city in India is full of low-tier MBA colleges where graduates receiving 30-40K per month is the norm. And then there are top-tier institutes like the IIM-K, where the average of top 50 percentile students stands at 8.07 LPA. https://www.imik.edu.in/placement-overview/

That being said, if I were in your place, I'd choose IMI-Kolkata, regardless of its placement record. The reason being, many other factors come into consideration during education and placements. IMI-K is one of the finest institutes to pursue an MBA. The institute has many professors with years of experience in the subject area. Their expertise in business, marketing, and finance provides students with an academic edge, he

No, admissions at the International Management Institute in Kolkata are of two types - Self Sponsored and/or company-sponsored. The institute creates a cutoff list for all its programs for the various categories - General, Sc/ST/OBC, etc. Candidates are shortlisted only on the basis of their academic records, CAT/XAT or GMAT score, and work experience. The latter is optional. You're called for the subsequent GD, What, and interview process only if you clear the cutoff in your respective category. Certain B-Schools like SPJIMR, Mumbai give profile calls, but eventually, they also consider scores of CAT/GMAT, etc., to make the final sele
