International relations at graduation level mostly focus on the trade with between countries. But the course has evolved significantly over past few years with the dynamic nature of how things work internationally.
Now the focus is shifting from proper trade to social change and its impact on the relations between the country.

It is all about networking now. Browse university websites for their research activities, you have to check which university has research activities in your field. You have to write to the research supervisors of particular universities and share your research proposal with them, they will get back to you if they like what you wrote. Follow up rigorously.
