Fairfield Institute of Management is better than Nalanda colleges as the Fairfield College is affiliated with the GGSIPU University and the learning procedure goes by the same. The learnings provided by GGSIPU makes a person skilled and good to go in the industry.
Alongside, the faculty and the facilities in Fairfield are fairly good and can help you grow in your career.

Don't depend on colleges, they are just 'money-making machines', upload your CV on different websites like naukri.com, Shine.com, etc to get your job. According to me, youthwork.com is really a good platform to get a job.

I would suggest you to join Bharati Vidyapeeth definitely, because it has been a well-doing university with experienced faculty and a good name for itself. Fairfield is also good. Choose among the two wisely to match your priorities. Good luck.

Hi Priya,
Your previous query mentions that you are doing 11th. So naturally, you are not eligible to pursue a Master's degree course without even completing your Bachelors. Complete your 12th with good grades and then complete your Bachelors. If you want to study in the US, you must do well in your studies and develop your overall profile.

Well, first of all it depends on your interest. Mechanical Engineering is a broad field which includes various domains like design, manufacturing, aerospace, vibrations etc. Avionics is one of the specialized field of Mechanical engineering itself. For pursuing avionics, basic knowledge of mechanical is required.
From the job perspective, mechanical is better than avionics because you are not restricting your domain. Even an industry which requires avionics expert would hire mechanical engineer if he has sufficient skills for that job. But if you take avionics, you are restricting your job opportunities in other mechanical domain jobs.
