The mark required for CMAT is 200. Moreover, weightage will also be given for the academics and for your performance in GD and PI. Thus a composite score is given. So prepare well for the GD.

Well, as per your CAT percentile, you are eligible. Moreover,academics is also considered and if you are eligible you will definitely get a call for GD - PI . Be sure with common & current topics for GD.

As per your marks, you are elgible, but admission to IPE also depends upon your performance in GD & PI (Personel Interview) and finally, a composite score is given. So, be sure with common & current topics for GD.

50 percentile is the minimum cutoff for for all national level management exams including MAT.

Well, PGDM in Operations is good specialization in IPE. Yes, you can opt for Operations and Finance its a good combination of dual specialization. Moreover, placement for Operations management is also descent. Best of luck!

Hello Bharathi,
Even though IPE is known for excellent placements for Marketing, it also provides descent placement for Operations and minimum package is Rs 5.5 lakhs. As per your MAT score, you are eligible but eligibility criteria for admission not only depends on entrance score, but also on the previous academic performance and performance in GD and Personal Interview, so if your overall performance is good you can expect admission. Be sure with common & current topics for GD.
