Every candidate must carry a simple blue/black ball point pen and a two copies of their passport size photo to the IPMAT exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, IPMAT candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer, face mask and gloves along with them. They have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. They also must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Students applying for the IPMAT exam can choose only test centre. And the IPMAT test city cannot be changed once the form has been submitted and also during the form correction window. In IPMAT candidates are provided with a rough sheet or a scribble pad for rough work and calculations. This is done to enable candidates to solve formula-based questions and other numerical problems. Candidates are not allowed to carry any page or sheet of paper with them into the examination hall. However, they can use the rough sheet or scribble pad provided to them during the exam to jot down the formulas, solve numerical problems and make rough calculations. It is important to note that the rough sheet or scribble pad is meant for rough work and calculations only, and candidates are not allowed to carry it out of the examination hall. Candidates should use the rough sheet or scribble pad judiciously and avoid wasting time on unnecessary rough work. No, it is not allowed to take a notebook to solve questions in IPMAT (Integrated programme in Management Aptitude Test). IPMAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for admission to its five-year integrated management programme. The exam is conducted in online mode and is designed to test the candidate's aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability. Candidates are provided with a virtual calculator on the computer screen to solve the questions during the exam. However, they are not allowed to carry any physical calculators, mobile phones, or any other electronic devices inside the examination hall.
