IPMAT will be conducted in online mode across 28 cities in India. IPMAT is an objective-type test comprising MCQs and Short Answer questions. There are two sections namely Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. There are 100 questions in total with a time duration of 2 hours and each correct answer carries 4 marks. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer for MCQs. There is No Negative marking for Short Answer (SA) questions. Quantitative Ability section has a time limit of 80 minutes. Verbal Ability section has a time limit of 40 minutes. IPMAT test day : Thursday, April 30, 2020

Hello,
Yes, they do have a sectional cutoff for IPMAT (Indore). IIM Rohtak's IPMAT however, does not have any such requirement.

The important probable timings/dates of IPMAT are given below:
1. Application start date for IPMAT 2020 : Second week of March 2020
2. IPMAT 2020 end date of filling application form : Second week of April 2020
3. Issue of IPMAT Admit Card 2020 : Last week of April 2020
4. IPMAT exam 2020 : April 30, 2020.

The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of General and NC-OBC category.

Yes, it is quiet tough for entrance exam because the exam will cover 11 and 12 math syllabus. One of the best books to prepare for IPMAT is 'Crack the IIM Indore IPM Entrance Exam', published by Pearson and written by IIM Lucknow Alumnus Nishit Sinha. Good luck!
