Hello Gugla,Common Entrance Test of Indraprastha University is likely to take place in its normal format and normal dates in this year also. I believe the news about it getting cancelled is not to be believed. Though presently on the website of the university there is no indication of either the test for the cancellation of it. However it is expected that the concerned website will be up and running for IPU CET 2019 in the first week of April. Best wishes to you.

Its nothing close to JEE. Exam consists of questions of average intellect. One should have PCM aggregate of minimum 55% to appear for the exam
Its based on the common syllabus of 11th and 12th. Unlike JEE, the questions aren't conceptual, like u don't need to apply formula from 5 different units to get a single answer. Revising properly from the notes of 11th and 12th will do the job. The formula based questions are easy to understand and there aren't usually any linguistic loopholes hidden within the question that you might miss in a hurry. U'll be granted +4 marks for every right answer and -1 for every wrong choice. The paper consist

Hello M Raza,
Plain reading of the eligibility criteria of this university in Delhi for lateral admission in their engineering courses indicates that you indeed are eligible to appear for their entrance test and seek admission. Of course there are some more criterias as well about the minimum percentage you need to score in your diploma et cetera. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information in this regard.
