Some colleges in Mumbai like Amity University Mumbai, KC College and Narsee Monjee College have now direct admission for students based on the marks obtained in ISC Class 12th. For example Amity University gives an exemption from entrance exercise if one has a minimum of 80% aggregate marks.Direct admission in Mumbai colleges like *Amity University Mumbai*, *KC College*, and *Narsee Monjee College* comes along with Class 12th marks and relies greatly on students with strong scores. For instance, Amity University requires 80% in ISC/CBSE boards for entrance test exemption. Policies can change according to departmental or school-specific requirements.

Even in terms of administering tests and announcing results, the ISC exam is the most methodical and disciplined in the nation. The disciplines are evenly split in terms of difficulty so that students in upper grades won't experience strain. A minimum of 35% in each subject is required for students to pass the ISC Class 12 Board Exam in 2024. In May 2024, the results will be announced. ISC Class 12 pass rates were 96.33% overall last year, with females passing at 98.01% and boys passing at 95.96%. Students who took the ISC board exam last year reported that the topics of Economics and Mathematics seemed to have been the most difficult ones for both the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)

The full form of ISC is Indian School Certificate. It refers to the higher secondary or 12th class exam conducted by CISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations). Candidates must be enrolled in Class 12 at a school affiliated with the CISCE Board after passing Class 11. In order to pass Class 12, students must have 75% attendance.
