Yes, you can apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry in Mechanical Engineering at Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) after completing your Diploma in mechanical engineering. However, you will have to clear an entrance exam with good marks held at the state level for engineering admission to be eligible for the course. After the result of the entrance examination is announced, you can apply for your respective course by making a demand draft of Rs. 750 as an application fee. You will also have to produce a list of documents like address proof, till date education certificates and other relevant documents for verification. I hope this helps!

As per your rank, you have slim chances of getting CSE branch in JEC Jabalpur because it is the college which having a good placements and almost every single student get a chance to go into this type of college.

Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur, is approved by AICTE and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalya. Admissions to this college are on the basis of entrance exams for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
