According to the Delhi Technological University Placement report 2023, the highest package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 82.05 LPA and INR 51.03 LPA, respectively. For the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, the median package offered to B.Tech and M.Tech students during the 2023 placements was INR 17 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. According to me, you should go for DTU. NSUT is acknowledged for CSE. ECE at DTU will be a better option.

Delhi candidates can easily get CSE in IGDTUW through JAC Delhi counseling. It may not be possible for you to change your details in your JEE Main application form once the admission process has begun. JEE Main correction window does open for some time but that is for the application process only. Thus, you cannot change your category in the JEE Application form for the counselling.

The possibility of getting DTU with 40000 rank for BTech depends on the category and the region of the candidate. DTU offers BTech programmes in 15 specializations, such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. The admission to these programmes is based on the AIR (All India Rank) in JEE Main, followed by the JAC Delhi counselling.The closing rank for the general category for DTU JEE Main Cutoff 2023 for various BTech specializations for the Delhi region ranged from 13345 to 99535, while for the Outside Delhi region, it ranged from 6224 to 203503.
