The BTech admission process via JAC Delhi counselling follows a structured procedure for students seeking admission to engineering programs across participating institutions. Initially, candidates must qualify through JEE Main and meet the eligibility criteria set by the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) committee. The process involves registration on the JAC Delhi website, followed by choice filling where applicants prioritize their preferred colleges and courses based on their rank. Seat allocation occurs through multiple rounds of counselling, where candidates are allotted seats based on their rank, category, and availability of seats in the chosen branches. After seat allocation, candidates must confirm their acceptance and pay the requisite fees to secure admission. The counselling process ensures transparency and fairness in allocating seats to eligible candidates across the participating institutes under JAC Delhi.

Enrollment in IIIT D B.Tech programmes is exclusively available through JAC Delhi counselling. JoSAA consultation is not available for admission to the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi). Therefore, in order to get admitted to IIIT D for B.Tech in 2024, students must register for JAC Delhi 2024 counselling. For admission to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch degree programmes offered by five technical universities/institutes of the Government of the National Capital Territory, Delhi, Joint Admission Counselling Delhi (JAC Delhi) conducts counselling. Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) are some of these institutes/universities.
