Jadavpur University is a state-aided autonomous university. It receives funding from the State Government, UGC and the World's Bank TEQIP division. So, the fee is quite low. The fee for UG courses start from INR 20,800. For PG courses, the start from INR 1,200. The fee is high for technical and Management courses such as BTech, MBA, MTech, etc.

The answer to this question depends on the course opted by the candidate. However, average is not criteria and any aspirant who meets the eligibility requirement and selection criteria can get admission in the university. Jadavpur University admission are both merit and entrance-based. A students requires to complete their Class 12 for UG courses whereas, graduation is required for PG programmes. The minimum aggregate ranges between 40% and 60%. Jadavpur University WBJEE Cutoff 2024 was released for Round 2 across different BE/BTech specialisations. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI and the HS quota. The Cutoff for the General AI category ranged between 57 and 2917. As per your CUET score you are likely to get admission in Jadavpur University, Bengal for BA in English hons.
