To get admission, you should get minimum of 1000 as merit rank. To get good branches like electrical, mechanical and IT your rank should be around 300 at least. To get into ECE and CSE your rank should be under 200 and under 100 respectively. For other branches you should get below 700. For branches like power engineering or construction engineering or food technology you should get about 1000 minimum. For B.Pharma your rank can be upto 2400-2500.

Jadavpur University publish the merit list online. There is a specific seperate portal for admission purpose. You can also contact the college office for more information.

Hi Ashis, The total fees charged for B.Tech electrical engineering is INR 9,600. College officials have not mentioned anything on the monthly wise fees. Thanks.

If you are in pharmacy for placements then sorry. Placements in pharmacy in JU are the worst. But I will tell you that you are in the richest subject of JU.
I do not care what others are saying, pharmacy is totally a research oriented subject. You are going to study medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, biochemistry, pharmaceutics, physics, programming all together. This is a very unique combination. You are not going to get a 20 LPA+ package. No man you are not going to get it. But you have the largest academic opening. You can go with any subject through this field. The eligibility for M.Sc Biotechnology is a Bachelor's degree in any of Physics, Biological Sciences, BAMS BHMS BPT and related subjects. Though, it is not mandatory to have Maths in class 12th, but it is advisable as it helps you in your curriculum.
