There is a large scope for civil engineers in both corporate as well as the North East India, where Jadavpur university students find a path to do better in future.
Talking about the average placements from the university, it is been around Rs 6.5 lakh per annum, the highest being Rs 15 lakh and lowest being Rs 3 lakh.
Since there are many companies visiting for non-civil fields then also civil students participating and getting selected are contributing to high placement percentage.

This is dependent on two factors:
Firstly, it is dependent on the fact that how active is the placement and training cell of the college and how much effort it puts to attract companies like MNCs. Secondly, this is totally dependent on the company as to keep an employee in home job location or international location and varies according to various factors like job vacancy at the desired location, projects going on at the desired location and your personal preference among all th

Jadavpur University is perhaps the best state university in India. It secures under 10 ranking in the lastest NIRF ranking. It is well known for its academics and placement records.

Average package:- 10 lakhs
