No, for Jadavpur University BE/ BTech admission, a valid WBJEE score is mandatory. To be eligible for the BTech programme offered at Jadavpur University, a candidate needs to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Apart from the BTech course, Jadavpur University offers a four-year full-time BE programme, covering fourteen specialisations. Jadavpur University BE admission is also based on WBJEE score.

UG at Jadavpur University varies upon several factors. WBJEE scores are used to determine admission to engineering and technology programs, after which counseling is conducted. Admission to undergraduate arts faculty courses is determined by the university's entrance exam and academic merit. Merit is the deciding factor for admission to Science courses. Admission to interesed students is offered by their acdemic standing or by the results of their admission exam. Every course has a different set of selection criteria.

Yes, absolutely! Jadavpur University does accepts students who passed through improvement exams for admission to it B.Tech program. There is no such specified norm that an improvement exam can affect the admission process of a student to any course.

Jadavpur University offer concession in fees, in terms of full and half free-studentship are awarded to needy students of the day-courses as well as evening courses of Arts and Science Faculty. UG (day) students of Engineering & Technology Faculty get the same facility.After due notification by the Dean of Students, application forms are issued at the beginning of the session from the Office of the Dean of Students.

The admission form for the M.P.H program at Jadavpur University for the 2024 intake is expected to be released soon.The application form is usually released around the month of may and june. As for the last year the application form was released on 27th May and it is expected to be released around the same time this year too. Candidates should keep themselves updated and should check the official website of the colleges they aim to have an admission in.
