The highest package offered by Jai Hind College was INR 6.5 LPA for a UG course. However, your placements always depend upon the skills you have and the field you are choosing. 60% - 70% students get campus placements every year. The median salary offered by this college is INR 3.63 LPA. Jai Hind College being a renowned institution in Mumbai, students get placements easily outside the campus as well. This college has good bonds with many companies like TCS, Google and also some local industries. One can easily get enrolled in the internships as well.

The average salary package offered by Mithibai College is between INR 5 LPA to INR 6 LPA. On the other hand the highest package offered by Jai Hind College was only INR 6.5 LPA, that too in 2021. The highest Package offered by Mithibai College was above INR 10 LPA, which is far better from Jai Hind College. The top recruiters for Mithibai College are Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Accenture, JPMorgan Chase & Co., NeoSOFT Technologies, PwC, Willis Towers Watson and many more. So, in conclusion Mithibai College offers more placement opportunities than Jai Hind College.

The highest package offered by Jai Hind college is INR 6.5 LPA for UG courses in 2021, for PG course it was INR 4 LPA in 2022. However, in 2022 the offer provided to UG course was reduced to INR 3.63 and for PG course, the salary package offered in 2021 was only INR 3.52 LPA which got increased to INR 4 LPA in 2022. The college has not released any brouchure or report on 2023 placements. However, the NIRF report is available of the college's official website.

Admissions in Jai Hind College are generally merit-based. However, it may differ according to the course you are choosing. Some of the courses, generally PG courses, require entrance exams, like Ph.D requires GATE & UGC NET score, MBA/PGDM course requires MAH CET exam score. The UG admissions are generally merit-based, for example B.Sc., B.A., B. Voc., B.Com. etc. are merit- based. However, admissions to the self-financing courses are based on the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) and Class 12/HSC exam scores.

A total number 360 seats are offered for B.A. programs in Jai Hind College, out of which 240 seats are offered for B.A. ( Bachelor's of Arts) and 120 seats are offered for B.A. in Advertising and Journalism. In B.A.,  Students can choose subjects from Economics, English, History, Philosophy, Pol. Sc., Commerce and Psychology. The total fee for a 3 year course starts from INR 23K.For B.A in Advertising and Journalism fee may go around 1.2 Lakhs for a 3 year course.

According to the recents updates, the admissions in Jai Hind College are based upon performance of individual in Class 12, or an equivalent exam. Admission to the self-financing courses is based on the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) and Class 12/HSC exam scores. Jai Hind College releases a merit list to indicate the name of the students selected for admission. Yes, Jai Hind College accepts Maharashtra HSC score for UG course like B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BMS and B. Voc. Some of the other exam score that this college accepts are ISC and CBSE 12th. The eligibility criteria for to get enrolled in the course of B.A is that, a  candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any other Board.

Jai Hind is a renowned college in Mumbai.  It provides a good enviornment for the overall growth of an individual. It's campus placements cell is very nice and almost 60% -70% students get campus placements from the college. This college focuses more on entrepreneurship, which is also a good factor that can be taken into consideration. In a city like Mumbai, Jai Hind College provides cheap and qualitative courses. Jai Hind College, on comparison with VES's College of Arts, Science & Commerce, is better to pursue B.A. According to recent reviews Jai Hind College ( out of 5 ) is given 4.9 for campus and crowd, 4.7 for faculty and 4.6 for value for money, which is far better from VES's College of Arts, Science & Commerce. Also, Jai Hind College is graded "A " by NAAC, which is plus point and should be considered while taking admission. If we take placements into consideration Jai Hind college offered INR 3.63 LPA whereas VES's College of Arts, Science & Commerce only offered INR 2.63 LPA, which makes a huge difference.
