The eligibility for the B.E. / B.Tech course from Jaya Engineering College at Thiruninravur, Chennai, expects that students have completed 10+2 education through core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and come from a recognised board. The candidate must ensure they get at least a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks in the qualifying exam; for reserved categories, 45 per cent is acceptable. Admission is largely based on TNEA counselling, based on marks obtained in 10+2. Also, a candidate should not be less than 17 years of age as of the year of admission.
