Jain University BSc admissions are entrance-based. The university conducts Jain Entrance Test (JET) to admit students to the various courses it offers. The written test is followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). Jain University follows the fee refund policy based on UGC regulations. As per the UGC regulations, “Should a student leave after joining the course and if the seat consequently falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admissions, the Institution must return the fee collected with proportionate deductions on monthly fee and proportionate hostel rent, wherever applicable”. To be eligible for a fee refund, a candidate must submit the application for cancellation in-person. The candidate must present the original fee receipt, document submission receipt and any other documents that had been received by the candidate from the university. No candidate will be entitled for a refund on or after the date of commencement of classes.

The eligibility criteria for BSc admission at Jain University depends upon the choice of BSc specialisation. The common requirement across all the specialisations is for an applicant to have passed Class 12 with relevant subjects, from a recognised board. For most BSc programmes offered at the university, the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 50%. For BSc in Cardiac Technology, the candidate must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, with a pass in English. The minimum aggregate required in Class 12 to be eligible for a BSc in Brand Identity and Visual Communication is 65%.
