Jaipur National University, Jaipur, a Private self-financed University, sponsored by Mahima Shiksha Samiti, came into existence on October 22, 2007, through an Ordinance of the Government of Rajasthan, In 2008, after thorough inspection by an expert panel of UGC members, the University was accorded approval under Section 2 (f). All the technical and professional programs are approved by various regulatory bodies - AICTE, NCTE, BCI, INC, PCI, MCI. The University is the First Private University of Rajasthan to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), based on a very comprehensive evaluation and accreditation only after 7 years of its establishment.

It is the best institute in Jaipur. It just not because I am an alumnus of this college but because the college has a low fee. I want to let others know about it. It gives an amazing surrounding to study and to go in whichever profession you like. It is about 10 acres of the area of college with the basketball and football grounds. The infrastructure on the campus is fabulous. The labs are well-furnished, and the library is the biggest one I saw in my life. The medical rooms and all the facilities for the games of both indoor and outdoor are given to us. The classrooms are big and can withstand 200 students at a time. The hostel facilities are available with the best surrounding. The placement division is going fantastic. Almost, 75% of the students who sit in the company interviews got selected. The highest package was 48 LPA, and the minimum package was 3 LPA. Many companies visit our college such as Google, Facebook, Octal, IBM, Infosys. Half of the percentage of the students got the internship programme. The faculty members are well-educated, helpful, and have an experience of minimum 5-6 years. They help us to solve all the problem we ask. There are different teaching methods such as on green board, power presentation, etc., which are good.

Jaipur national university is good for B.Sc. Biotechnology. B.Sc. (Hons. ). Biotechnology is a three-year degree programme. In the first two semesters, the focus is on the core subjects of biotechnology to ensure a good grounding in the fundamental concepts. Specialisation is offered in the second and third year. The course contents cover all aspects of the applied and core biotechnology including molecular biology, genetic engineering, plant and animal tissue culture, bioprocess technology, advanced microbial technology, intellectual property rights and patents, industry relations and entrepreneurship, etc. Duration: 3 Years
