UEM has a good placement record. Last year and present year placement went very well as per my knowledge. There were many students who grabbed more than 1 job offers and some of them even got 4-5 job offers. There is no scholarship test at JKLU. The scholarship is based on class 12th marks. The scholarship will be provided at the time of admission on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th. Merit Scholarships: Scholarships from 25% to 100% of tuition fees are offered to meritorious students based on their examination scores, in the first year of study. Top 10% of the students who obtain a CGPA of 8.0 and above in a programme are awarded scholarships equivalent to 50% or 75% of the tuition fees in subsequent years.

Yes, you can apply for B.Tech courses without having the JEE Main score. You have to appear in the JKLU Engineering Entrance Test (EET) to qualify for the programme. Eligibility criteria : Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates), or equivalent grades in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
