There is no difference. It's like what is the difference between fruits and apple. PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) is a course and PGDM marketing is a type of specialization. I hope the point is clear.

Yes, there is nothing wrong in studying at these institutions. They are decent and if you perform well, they will also act as a doorstep for your career with decent position. India needs more managers every year than those supplied by IIMs, XLRI, or other top MBA schools.
