The placement department is diligent and manages to get excellent job opportunities from top companies like Nagarro, Infosys, Unthinkable, Amdocs, etc. The university has been ranked 2 among top universities in Punjab and has been accredited by NAAC with A++ grade. The flagship B.Tech program of the university is well-known and admission is based on inter-se merit of the qualifying exam. The total course fee for the B.Tech program is INR 4.2 Lakhs.

However, as on Mar 7, 2023, NIT Jalandhar recorded 73.79% placement rate in the academic year 2022-2023. The overall the highest and average package offered during the NIT Jalandhar placement 2023 stood at INR 51 LPA and INR 12.44 LPA, respectively.On the other hand Around 95-98% of students got placed in our college. The DAV University Jalandhar average package details are not released. However, the highest package offered during 2021 placements is released officially. As per the report, the 2021 the highest package stood at INR 17 LPA and was offered by Interview Kickstart. The highest package was made to BTech CSE students. Further, the second the highest package offered was INR 12.50 LPA, which was offered by Microsoft. The second-the highest package was bagged by BTech CSE students.
