The institution has been given the designation of "University with Potential for Excellence" by the UGC. The University Grants Commission has given the institution "Category One" classification, making it the first university in the Chandigarh, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh area to do so. It is also accredited by the NAAC with grade ‘A++’ and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Also, GNDU has been ranked 2 and 51 among top universities in Punjab and India by NIRF 2020, respectively.

Yes, you can get admission in DAV University Jalandhar with 61% marks in 12 th CBSE For B tech in CSE. But you will have to pass their entrance test and yes with these marks you are not eligible for the scholarship.

NIT Jalandhar good placements annually for various courses like BTech, M.Tech and MBA, etc. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released on the official website. Once, it is released, the MBA placement details will be updated here. However, as on Mar 7, 2023, NIT Jalandhar recorded 73.79% placement rate in the academic year 2022-2023. The overall the highest and average package offered during the NIT Jalandhar placement 2023 stood at INR 51 LPA and INR 12.44 LPA, respectively. As per the latest report, NIT Jalandhar recorded 73.79% placement rate for the Class of 2023 till Mar 7, 2023. Earlier in 2022, the NIT Jalandhar recorded 81.76% placement rate in the academic year 2021-2022. Going back to 2021 placements, NIT Jalandhar recorded 81.76% placement 63.44% placements rate.

As on Mar 7, 2023, the highest package offered during NIT Jalandhar placements 2023 drive stood at INR 51 LPA. Earlier in 2022, the NIT Jalandhar the highest package offered stood at INR 120 LPA. Going back to 2021 placements, NIT Jalandhar the highest package offered stood at INR 43.17 LPA.
