Hi, CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. 2. Size:LPU is spread over 600 acres campus consisting of 3000+students and 3500+ faculty members and staff. Students are taking the admissions not from all over India but across the borders as well which make me feel that I am in a foreign land.

An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. But change is the only constant in computer engineering! LPU has adjusted dynamically to the continuous updates and changes in the industry.
I would suggest you compare the following parameters:
Curriculum: If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since it is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a program that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi.
Pedagogy: The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the program is delivered, more practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well-rounded professional.
Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc are a must for any professional to succeed in their career.
Industry interface: Ultimately it's the industry that is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits, and internships are a must-have in any tech program.
Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc are given high importance in the organizations. The program must include the training or modules on all these.
