Yes, you can appear for the IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics exam even if you are pursuing B.Sc in Physics with Math and Chemistry. The eligibility criteria for the IIT JAM exam statest that you require a minimum of 55% for General/OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates in their Bachelor's Degree. As long as you fulfill these criteria, you are eligible to take the exam.

Yes, you are eligible to go for Biotechnology at IIT JAM. This is because maths is not a compulsary subject for Biotechnology. Thus, prepare well to get into IIT JAM. All the best.

At the time of registration applicants should write their name as filled in JAM application form. However, during document verification process candidates can give an affidavit on INR 50/- Stamp Paper stating that the two names belong to the same person and if found false at any stage then his/her seat in CCMN counselling will be cancelled.

Applicants are advised to contact the IIT JAM exam conducting authority to obtain a score card as it is a compulsorily document required to be uploaded for document verification after allotment of a seat.In case of missing of IIT JAM score the candidature of applicants can be rejected at any stage of admission process.

Khushi: IIT JAM 2024 Biotechnology exam difficulty level was moderate. In Biology questions from Immunology, Genetics, Recombinant DNA Technology topics were asked. In sections, i.e., NAT, both from physics and mathematics questions were asked. Section A and B was comparatively easy than Section C.Sudarshan: IIT JAM Economics subject exam difficulty level was easier than last year. Some direct questions were asked from liquidity preference money supply and few were asked from consumer and supplier chain product.

The Biotechnology paper was also of moderate to tough difficulty level. A few questions were direct and easy to answer. Molecular Biology and Cell Biology had the maximum number of questions. A few questions were really easy to answer while some required theoretical knowledge. Molecular Biology and Cell Biology had the maximum number of questions.

The exam difficulty level as compared from previous year was easu, however, the questions came this year were quite lengthy. NAT type questions took longer time to solve. In macroeconomics, ISLM had the maximum weightage and many questions were there on matrices. The IIT JAM 2024 Economics cut off will be higher than last year cut off.Memory Based Questions: Two questions were on producer and consumer surplus graph (standard supply demand graph). Candidates were need to find the value of the surplus and change in the surplus.
