IIT Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) notification has been announced by IIT Delhi, the exam conducting body for the academic year 2025-26. IIT Madras, the conducting body for IIT JAM 2025, will be commencing the application process on September 3, 2024 in online mode. According to the infomation mentioned in the IIT JAM 2025 Information brochure, which was released by IIT Madras, the examination conducting body, there is no as such nay age limit to appear for IIT JAM 2025. However it is recommended that aspirants can appear for IIT JAM 2025 examination as soon as the get a graduate degree so that they can perform well in the examination.

JAM Score is used for admission to various postgraduate programmes such as (i) MSc,   (ii) MSc (Tech), (iii) MS (Research), (iv) MSc - M.Tech Dual Degree, (v) Joint MSc - PhD. and (vi) MSc - PhD Dual Degree, across multiple disciplines by premier institutes across the country.Admissions to various programmes using JAM 2025 Score can be divided into two categories:I. Admitting Institutes:There are around 3000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs for the academic year2025-25. JAM 2025 Scores will be used to admit the candidates subject to satisfying the ERs and MEQs and any other necessary requirements, without any additional interview or written test.II.
