If you want to give jam exam for M.Sc. Maths then just google IIT JAM Roorkee there you will saw application page from there download the brochure and check the eligibility and then apply.

Through the Jam exam, you can apply for both M.Sc and integrated Ph.D., but through JEST exam you can apply only for Ph.D. or integrated Ph.D. Infact JEST is tough as compared to Jam.

No, if you want to get admission to IIT Gandhinagar on the basis of IIT Jam rank, then they won't take an interview. This thing is mentioned in IIT Jam brochure.

IIT JAM stands for Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Admission Test (JAM)for master. IIT JAM is a National level exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. No, they are not the same. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an all-India entrance exam that allows candidates to apply for IITs, NITs, IISc, and some other applied science institutes/universities. GATE exam can be given only by those candidates who have applied science degrees like B.E and B.Tech, to M.Tech and M.Sc by research integrated Ph.D. and direct Ph.D. program. IIT JAM (Joint Entrance Test for M.Sc) is an all-India entrance exam that allows candidates to apply for IITs, IISERs, IISc, and NITs. There is no restriction about the distance degree for appearing in IIT JAM exam for M.Sc. Mathematics. So you can be eligible if meeting the below criteria. Educational qualification for M.Sc. Mathematics :
1. All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelors degree.
2. In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
